Any exp with Audi synthetic car wash mitt @ $5 ea ?

Had the Audi mit (free gift from the dealer) and after a couple of months it -->
started to devlop small hard areas at the end of the strands. Got the Sheepskin mit from Target for $7.00 and it is working out great.

Chenille Wash Mitts--->
Very good type of mitt. They are very forgiving on the finish and are super-cheap. I recommend buying two, one of the upper body, and another for the lower valences of the car.

if you don't mind buying a new mitt every 3 months, ok, but I've had no problems
the mitt I got from autozone. I dunno if it's sheepskin or lambswool though. I forget. I just make sure it's always clean. I do 1 section of the car then rinse the mitt off to get out any grit.

Buffing or Washing???
Wool has a cutting action when put on a buffer, and should only be used in skilled hands. For washing, it's as gentle as a wet, declawed cat (imho). I've used those acrylic wash mitts for years, and they always leave swirls. Last year I started on wool mitts, and I love them!

I guess it depends on the quality of both really. Cheap wool or cheap synthetic will jack your paint
Meguiar's reccomends their synthetic wash mit, so that's what I use. I noticed some swirl marks from the wool mit I was using previously. It was a supposedly a good brand.
