Default Any way to get ammonia/Windex stain/haze off of bumper

Basically I'd mixed Windex into the windshield washer fluid. Well the stuff in the rear landed on the bumper and I did not was the car for a week or two. Now the rear bumper looks hazy in certain areas...from the ammonia in Windex. I've tried 3M Imperial Hand Glaze with no luck. I think I tried 3M Rubbing compound as well (all by hand).

Is there anyway of getting rid of these "stains" or does the bumper need to be repainted?

Thanks,
Mike

Default maybe im nuts... but Windex isnt that caustic to paint... Ive seen guys (idiots) use it as a

quick detailer/spray on wax.

What exactly is the bumper made out of? Matte plastic...? Painted Plastic? What Color?

Rubbing compound is too agressive and imperial hand glaze is pretty useless in this application.... any pics?
