Anyone ever use "Liquid Glass" polish/finish wax? Some friends have recommended it to me.

Default Sure. Been around for years.

A high solvent (cleaners) sealant that does a decent job and has average reliability and gloss.

Personally I rate it a 5.5 out of 10. It does an ok job but doesn't excel in any categories.

Interesting. So products like Zaino and Menzerna are a higher grade polish/wax?

Used two bottles of it. I thought the shine was pretty good and it definitely had great durability. Kinda tedious process. Trick is to bake it in the sun AFTER removing the polish (wait two or more hours in SHADE or garage (better yet) Baking it in the sun seemed to be the key- heard that from a Vette guy = he would put a carnuba top coat on for extra bling. I tried FinishFirst last Spring and have not looked back. Easiest stuff to use so far and I like the results. I don't top it but that will probably be my next experiment. Oh yeah, with the liquid glass, the first coat was not that impressive, there was a very noticeable improvement once I had three coats on. Like I said, tedious. Personally, I would recommend the Finish First especially if you live in a harsh winter area.

Default Everyone has their preferences....

Comparing them side by side, which I have on test panels and on my cars, I prefer Zaino over LG because it was able to maintain it's slickness and gloss over a longer period of time. Plus I just like the look better.

LQ, however, outlasts carnaubas as far as durability. If you want something that will last through a winter or that you will not have to reapply every month it's a decent choice.

Just curious if you have ever tried the Finish First and if you could compare it to Zaino? Zaino seems to be the polish of choice (not sure if it is a polish, sealant, glaze or whatnot) but have not known any Zaino users personally to compare war stories with.
