Audi Touch-Up Paint

If you buy the right color, it will match; that's the smallest issue. But metallic paints (like metallic silver) are virtually impossible to get exactly right -- something about the way the flakes fall when blobbed on, versus when they're sprayed on; the color may be right, but it still looks like it's a different shade because of the way light is reflected off it. On my wife's brilliant black car, the Audi touch-up paint is a great match. But technique is the most important part of it. Check out the article at carcareonline.com for how to correctly make a touch-up repair. One thing's for sure: never use the brush that comes with the touch up paint!

I just got a call from my Audi dealer - ordered Pearlescant touch up for my '91 90, and it's in. Not only that, but I also just now ordered Langka as discussed on this site for eliminating touch-up blobs. Now I'm all geeked up to try that and see if it works. Analicity forever!!!
