i've used the one grand blitz show off quick detailer and thought that worked really well. much better than the finish first and mother's products that i've tried recently.
anyone else have recommendations?

Not sure if this is exactly how other companys make em, but it works for me
2 - parts car soap, 1 - part cleaner wax (I use mothers, its cheap)
Mix in alot of water into a spray bottle and shake it up good.
I wouldn't use it to remove dirt, though I did try it and didn't get any scratches..
I use it more of a quick shine after a car wash.
Acts just like the other QD's I have =)

Thanks, Style - I just use distilled water in spray bottle with a touch of liquid Zymol (or Zurtle, as HDClown calls it!), maybe a tablespoon at most. I'm gonna try adding a little soap. If you get too much wax in the mixture, you'll know it! Starts hazing and you're basically waxing your car....

Do you think a little liquid soap in the mixture will "lift" light dust/dirt? Or is it to make the spray easier to spread and buff, or what? I'd be a little concerned about residue, but then I haven't tried it.

I also use Pinnacle Crystal Mist which is a great product but is expensive. Once I deplete my supply of Crystal Mist I will continue using Clear Pearl.
I have never used Show-off but I have heard great things about it.

If there is alittle soapy sollution, it should lift the dirt, along with keeping some lubrication to prevent any potential scratching. Much like using soap for a clay bar!
