Default best way to repair a paint chip... langka? dr. colorchip? professional body shop?

caught a rock on a highway. it bounced of my A5 leaving a chip pretty much in the center of the hood... painfull. the chip about 2mm in diameter, penetrated through the paint pretty deep, not to the metal though. What is my best option for repairing it:

OEM touch-up paint?
langka?
dr. colorchip?
professional body shop? (whould they even deal with a chip?)

Thanks for your advice guys

Default Get a nice fine tipped brush from a arts and crafts store and skip the touch up

brush that comes with the OE bottles. They're too thick and get paint everywhere. With the fine tipped brush, you can control exactly where to blob the paint.

Once it dries, use Langka or mix up your own using Dave's writeup and make your own Langka blob eliminator.

Skip the bodyshop, you can do this yourself. The nice thing about the blob eliminator is if you mess up, start over. Costs you about $20 for the OE touch up and a few bux at the arts and crafts store.

FYI my mix is safe -- your arm will fall off before you rub through the clearcoat

Default No worries -- just didn't want you to not try for fear of anything happening.

Not trying for any other reason is totally fine!

thinning the paint gets it to lay flat. If I can keep in inside the chip it looks best.
