Default I wouldn't.....good quality car shampoo should do....

Dawn can be harsh on rubber.....

You don't want your new Audi to have it's door and window seals squeaking already.

Default agreed, u may also want to at least spot clay rough areas

or the whole car if you are so inclined. Transporation and dealer "prep" can be a biatch.

Default "Dealer Prep" was horrible. I was kind and didn't say anything, I figured I was

going to do it anyway. They used some liquid crap on the paint, They were doing another one when I picked mine up. It almost feels like there is nothing on the car right now. I've been using MGC wash on it, (only twice).

Default "Dealer prep" like "jumbo shrimp"

The lot crawler takes a bucket of dirty used wash water, rubs its granules over your paint, rubs some more with first fake chamois ever made.

And they are convinced they are providing "excellent customer service!" At BH Audi, they had special little silver foil stickers printed up that they stuck on the invoices pointing out that they gave you the wash "for free" but you should remember it when the survey calls. Oh, I'll remember it all right guys.
