Default Carpet cleaning

Over the weekend someone spilled some water or something on my floor mats. They then stepped on it with sandy shoes so the sand is ground in to the carpet. I tried to vaccuum it out but it wouldnt work. Is there anything I can use to clean it off?

Default If it's just sand, a better vacuum should do the trick.

Go to a local car wash, drop 75 cents and try using one of their industrial vacuums on there...see what happens.

Default I really recommend having one of these....

Whether you get a small portable machine or a larger upright model, a hot water injection/vacuum machine (the home version of those carpet cleaning machines you can rent at many supermarkets) can do a world of good on interior carpeting...and carpeting in your home too. Bissell makes a whole line of these "deep cleaning" machines. We have an upright model with attachments. I use it on the cars about every six months. It gets floor mats and carpeting clean, and is infinitely better than any spray in a bottle.

Bissell
