Cigarette burn on white hood - vandalism - help please!

Came out of my apartment today and saw that someone had mashed their lit cigarette into the hood of my white 90Q. After I stopped swearing up and down and trying to figure out who it was I washed off what I could and am left with a yellowish stain the size of a nickle. Does anyone have ANY ideas as to whether or not this can be removed without repainting the hood? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

Here are some things that I'd try, most likly in this order..
Claybar
3M IHG
3M 'Finesse-it' I
3M 'Perfect-it' Rubbing compund (you'll need to feed the paint w/ a little IHG and then wax after usage because it is a 'true' compound).
Citrus based products should also be considered

it seems like if nothing works, you're probably going to end up taking it to a paint shop anyway, so you might as well exhaust your options first. i'd start with clay, then go to harsher stuff like rubbing compounds...
anyway, that damage really sucks; people can be such jerks.

....from the pic, it looks more like someone laid a burning cigarette on the hood and let it burn down while lying there. In any event, it seems a safe bet you need something more aggressive than 3M IHG (which is very mild) or a clay bar (a clay bar is fine for "smoothing out" a finish, but even with my limited experience using clay I can't see using it on a spot like this). Meguiar's makes a group of polishes/cleaners that you may want to consider. Care Care Specialties has them. A link to one is below. You might even need the #4 "Heavy Cut" cleaner. Good luck!

Meguiar's Fine Cut #2 Cleaner
