Default Clearcoat paint on wheels peeling

I'm going to take this in, this afternoon, and have them look at it, it's under warranty, and I think they should cover it, but if they don't(the service writer said salt sometimes eats at the finish), how would I fix this? Follow Nasa's guide, and just do the clearcoat portion of the work?

original post

Default Problem is not the salt but the harsh cleaners used on wheels often

If your lucky they will cover this but it is a long shot. Most clears fail because of the acidic nature of most wheels cleaners on the market. Once redone make sure to stear away from harsh cleaners and wash your rims will soap and water, when they get dirty do treat as you would your paint (Clay, polish, seal).
