Collision repair Gurus, need advice...
I bought this used A4 with rear end damage and am wondering how much I am into for the repair. It was struck on the rear bumper on the driver's side. The bumper plastic is damaged and the sheet metal crumple zone is pushed in about 1" (bottom picture). The bumper mount bolt holes are pushed forward and there is crumpling of the sheet metal. It looks like the strike was on the bumper only as there is no other visible damage above or below the bumper itself. The sheet metal damage appears to be localized around the bumper mount. I want to save money on the repair if possible and I am planning on replacing the bumper with a new one from an auto wrecker. My question is, how does the sheet metal damage get fixed by a body shop? Do they just put it on a rack and pull it back out with hydraulics? Is this a big deal, and how much do you think I am into for repair if I do the bumper myself? Thanks in advance.

A tip of advice... When it comes to body damage, the cheaper
the estimate the cheaper the work. the difference in price to get it done right is probably around 500 bucks its the difference of you looking at your car every day and saying hey baby lets go for a spin or looking at that messed up body panel and saying if only i could find that gypsy in the walmart parking lot id beat his brains in with a bat.
Good Luck.
Good Luck.
