Well, I am relatively new here, usually hang out on AW-B5S4 side of things, and a couple local Alaskan forums. But the current article surrounding the detailing of the S4 has me thinking. What is the preferred detailers selection of products, is there a place as such I can "one stop shop"?
I only ask because I am still relatively new to full on detailing, having gone in on a local group buy with Griots 2 years ago I have been as RKA was, pleased with some of their stuff, and "ho-hum" to some of the other stuff I got. (bought the "starter kit" and some)
After a quick search it seems Adams is the creme de la creme of products, while Griots being priced similarly is said to not be that great.
So is Griots really that bad, or Adamas really that much better? Are there products out there MUCH better than both of them?
TIA

If you search this forum, you'll see many people prefer the tried and true products like Meguirs and 3M, etc.
I personally prefer Zaino, for it's ease of use and longevity. No one can tell you what you'll like, but they can suggest to you what they use.![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
Trying out various products and seeing what you like is one option.

Einszett and 4Star are really showing promise. I am extremely happy with both of these products, from a shine and longevity standpoint.
From an app of 4Star on light silver metallic...from reflection, smoothness, & longevity, I really can't imagine anything much better.
Einszett products (Glanz)will last at least 6 months in outside winter/salt conditions.

but might not be right for everyone
I would say for the guy that wants a one stop shop Adam's has extremely good products. I've used them all and feel that overall his product fit many of AW members needs as well as other make and models.
Everything is compatible and you don't have to worry about residue and streaking (note: as long as you are using the product correctly.)
However there are other companies that are great out there too. It really depends on your needs like do you mind spending alot of time on your car or do you want something with results and less time etc.
Drop me an e-mail if you need more suggestions etc.

you can't really talk about it. I would say pick up all the stuff you are interested and try it out or ask a buddy you know that has the stuff what they think etc.
