Default Do these Scratches look Buffable

The A4 that i'm looking at buying has these pesky scratches on the C-pillar...

Owner says that they are from trying to scrape ice off of the rear window during the car's only winter in Colorado...

Default Oh, Christ...he couldn't be bothered to keep the scraper on the window? In the pic...

they look to be bad. You can probably reduce them with buffing, but I'm with Pizzicato, I don't think they're coming out.

Default I'm in Orlando, the car is in South Carolina...

I'm having a friend swing by to check it out (a fellow audiworlder) i'll have him give them a feel...

Other than those scratches, that seems to be it from what the owner says...

Thanks guys

If you run your nail over the cratches and it catches in the scratch then it's through the clear-coat and you need to seek professional assistance. Otherwise you'll be able to buff them out. I hope this helps!
