ZAINO is an optically perfect polymer system. If you apply carnauba over it, it will distort the optical perfection. If you do apply carnauba, this will ruin Sal's system and you will most likely have to strip the carnauba first then apply more ZAINO. Most KLASSE users do use carnauba as a topper. This makes sense as Klasse darkens the finish and a carnauba will add to this effect.

If Zaino is optically perfect, but Zaino + carnauba is not perfect, are we then saying that carnauba by itself if not optically perfect?

You later state that Klasse will tint the paint, and carnauba adds to this effect...what does that mean? How can that be good...or is that your point, the carnauba makes a bad situation worse?

I've used both carnauba and Zaino, and I'm a big Zaino fan, however, some of the things you're saying don't really make sense to me. If you can explain them in more detail, I would appreciate it. Also, do you have any affiliation with Zaino (your email addy is the reason I ask)?
