I got hit with some road debris MONTHS ago and simply never got around to fixing the scratches and crap on the front bumper as well as the side of the car.
I removed everything on the car but when I got to the front bumper, I went a little too far and burned through the paint. This is the downside with trying to buff out scratches and such on painted plastic. I'm always careful but every once in a while.... Oops!
Took all the paint off!

So I thought I would try and fix it. It was already messed up so I couldn't make it worse.

2' away... this is what I was going for. Once I get some highway miles on that spot and it gets all pitted again, I doubt anyone will tell it's been fixed.

I've never done this sort of thing before but it was pretty easy but very time consuming. I wanted it to look good from like 2' away which I think it does. I think it would be completely invisible if it weren't for the puncture hole that I didn't fill well enough.
I might go back and fix that at some point but once it gets a few thousand miles on the bumper and all the little rocks, dirt, etc pelt the bumper it should look just like the rest of the paint.
I got all the products I needed at the local Auto Zone using all Duplicolor products for about $15.
