i've left the tt in the sun for the past few days, but both the p21s and swissvax sides of the hood still look identical to me. if there's a difference to be found, it's apparently beyond my perception.
i'll keep folks apprised, but thus far i'm not impressed at all with the swissvax.

If you're looking for depth, concorso may not be the right swissvax for you. Concorso/BoS is more known for its clarity & gloss as well as durability over the other swissvaxes. On a non-metallic red, I wouldn't expect significant gains over a value wax like p21s. What I would expect though is a marked difference in beading and durability. P21s has relatively little carnuba content and uses a significant amount of beeswax. While the wax itself looks great, the durability is in the 2 week range.

actually, aside from a few rock chips i'm quite satisfied with the paint's appearance and wasn't really expecting the concorso to do much. that said, i'm always eager to find something that takes things up another notch.
i'm a bit confused about your comment on clarity -- how can something layered on top of the paint increase clarity?
p21s may be a value wax, but so far (even ignoring price) i prefer it to the concorso, since it's easier to apply. we'll see how the two stack-up durability-wise; so far the beading is similar. however, it's quite possible i'll need to repolish the hood before either one of them wears off.

I've noticed with some waxes & sealants that there is often a murky/oily look when applied & buffed off the paint. I've esp noticed this with FMJ and Opti-seal when compared to Ultima / Jeff's Werkstatt. Haven't had the opportunity to use a paste wax on the A3 yet since they're all at home in CA.
