Default Getting water spots off Clear Bra - ->

Good evening gents!

It's been a while since I posted here... Hoping to get some help.

I had some paint work done in the fall, and having always regretted not getting clear bra, I had it done as soon as the paint cured.

I treated a few times with Plexus but today while starting a spring cleanup, I notices some nasty water spots.. I hit it with Plexus, and then Meg's Clear Plastic Polish #11 (designed to polish the clear plastic windows on boats) and neither helped.

Also tried One Grand ERV in hopes it might ease the stain..but it did not. Any thoughts?? It's not as bad as it looks...if you get the light just right the spots are visible..otherwise, they are extremely difficult to see.

Default unless that is in the actual paint, then I used Menzerna IP and a Porter Cable to remove most of

mine

Default I don't understand... are you saying Menzerna IP- ->

if it is the paint or if it isn't the paint.

That pic is the clear bra material, not the paint.

Default I'm getting the car resprayed next week...but no clear bra. imo, it's not worth it.

A good quality clear bra job will cost close enough to the cost of another respray to not bother with the hassle and less-than-ideal look of clear bra.

I'd take it off, but maybe not just yet if you're still happy with it...

Default Thanks for your input, but no thanks...

I have had the car for five years. I have done many upgrades and modifications and the only one I have ever regretted not doing was clear bra.

I don't know how much or what prices are by you, but a respray of the hood, bumper fenders cost far more than clear bra.

I'll be keeping it thanks.

So, do you have any ideas on removing water spots?

Default you prob don't want to use a regular polish on the clearbra, right?

maybe try a wet cloth/sponge with a bit of vinegar to see if that will remove the spots...
