Got my first paint chip yesterday.... :-( So now what?

Got my first paint chip yesterday.... :-( So now what?
Well I found my first paint chip on my new A6 last night when I washed it. Its in the hood about 6 inches up from the grill and appears to be through the clear coat and into the paint. Gee that didn't take long. :-( Oh well. Now what do I do about it?
I've never had a car before where I cared enough to do anything about the paint chips. I just waxed over em and left em. This car will get better treatment so I figure I might as well learn now...
