How to cover this behind grill? Please help...

As you can see I've swapped the grill but there's an unsightly metal strip now exposed. I'm struggling to find a cover for it online and not a clue what to search for tbh...

Anyone got any ideas?

other people have run into the same problems installing rs grilles and most people just painted it black during the install.
