Default I generally use a #3 machine glaze followed by #9 swirl remover . . .

then hand rub with #7 then wax with #26 or #16 wax. These are all Meguiar's products.

Pretty much the same for any color . . .

Default Brilliant Black with Clearcoat is the same as any other color with clearcoat- - ->

although it is just harder to get it perfect because of the black..not the clearcoat.

Whatever info you have so far...forget. It is horses doo-doo to think that you can't wax black.

My wifes A4 Avant is BB and I use the same technique that I use for my Santorin.

You might want to add this to your bookmarks..memorize it...<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/detail/msgs/8409.phtml">2k2S4's Brilliant Black Routine</a></li></ul>

Default I generally used clay -> One Grand Omega Glaze -> One Grand Blitz wax.

This is how the wife's brilliant black wagon looked after 7 years. As others have noted, black doesn't require any different techniques or products, it's just more demanding because it shows everything. Btw, this pic was taken in the middle of the spring detailing routine, before applying wax. I sold this car last summer.
