I was going between flat black and glossy black wheels. im gonna go with the flat black but i heard it is harder to keep clean and will not look new as long compared to the glossy. I was wondering what kind of products can i use to keep them looking brand new?

Your black wheels are black because they've been painted that way. As such, care and maintenace should be the same as you would for a body pannel. The reason people are recommending glossy black is that you can put a heavy coat of sealant on it (Menzerna FMJ would be a good bet) to act as a protectant. Most sealants produce a glossy finish which would not go well on flat black wheels. Well sealed wheels will be much easier to keep clean.

I would treat them as you would with anything else and use the info from the previous post which is right on.

Never owned a flat black rim so to sum it up. a flat black rim doesnt have a clearcoat while a glossy black rim does correct?
So what are some sealants i can use that will not give off a glossy finish?
