Default How to make B7 stock wheels less "sticky" to brake dust?

Other than waxing the wheels and lasts about a week until the next wash, any suggestions?

Default 3 options.

1. waxing wheels makes a huge difference (did'nt really understand what you meant)

2. change to a low-dust pad (hawk hps is great)

3. wash car more often (may not be an option for some)

I would use a sealant rather than a wax. Sealant can withstand the heat much better.

Default Clay and apply FMJ. Keeps dust from building up. When washing car...

don't use a lot of the strong wheel cleaners mentioned here (like ps21, simple green) because they will remove the wax. Just use your regular soap and they will clean up in a jif!

Default agreed. I also never use wheel cleaning products.

I did intially use FMJ and would follow up with wax every few weeks

Default lots of good sealants. you want a durable sealant. I recommend Rejex for wheels.

Rejex can be applied to fiberglass, coated and non coated metal, glass, paint, etc.

Default I have used Klasse AIO and SG in the past

Not sure if it helped repel the dust, but i was more confident that the wheels were protected and they always looked great.

I also would mix a bit of car shampoo and water in spray bottle and coat the wheels while I washed the rest of the car... Dust always came off pretty easy.
