Default I am looking for something to clean deep inside my wheels

I'm having a hard time imagining this one being able to really scrub inside, and it looks a little phalic too. Anybody have a great product to recommend?

http://www.autogeek.net/eagonewheels.html</a

Default Honestly...I just pull the wheels off every few months...

That way I can reach back there and get everything clean...then follow with a coat of wax, which helps protect it unti the next "wheels off the car cleaning". Those silly tools just don't cut it, and unless you have a VERY open spoke wheel design, there's going to be crud left back there anyway...no matter what tool you use.

Default Do you have open spoke wheels?

If so, I have found the "sponge on a stick" to be hard to beat. Use two at a time for even quicker cleaning. I get these at the grocery store (some have them, some don't) and they have a thin plastic handle rather than the wooden handle on the attached example.

Default If you have open face wheels, just stick your hand in there and use a sponge.

I have 18" Kahn RSS and I just use a sponge and stick my hand between the rotor and the inside of the wheel to clean. I don't have aftermarket brakes but the stock S4 brakes do make it a little difficult sometimes since I have big hands.

Default Go see your Audi dealer and get one of their....

$4 wheel cleaning brushes. If they don't have it on display somewhere, ask. THey're in the accessories brochure. I got one and use it on my 8.5" wide BBS CHs for the insides of the rims (not the faces). Just stick it through the openings after having sprayed the wheel down with water and Griots wheel cleaner. Enough goes through the spokes to help clean the inside. I keep them clean and wax them about every 3 months when I rotate tires. THis way, they stay looking like new, and it's easy/fast

Just use einszett Wheel Cleaner. No need to scrub.

No wheel cleaner made is truly "touchless".
