Default I just ordered a PC 7424...

I've always done my polish/wax (3m ihg and 1k blitz wax) by hand... I now have an older car that I don't love enough to do by hand, so... What pads should I buy for the PC so I can use it on my S4 and not worry too much?

Are the colored pads universal? If I buy a white pad from Gariots, is it similar to a white pad from PC?

Thanks,

-Thom

Default Porter-Cable pads suck. I hope you got the tool from CoastalTool, otherwise

you'll need to buy the velcro backing plate to use the pads from properautocare.com. I'd buy from them before Griot's simply because, even with their shipping rates as they are, I still think Griot's is the biggest price gouge around.

Default Oohh! Even better than the amazon deal I got...

I'm off to cancel my amazon order and go with CostalTool. What pads do you think I should pick up from properautocare.com?

Thanks!

Default I picked up 2 each, yellow, white and grey.

Turned out I only used 1 of each but I like having extra supplies in case I drop one or something stupid like that.

Default

You can never be thin enough or have enough pads.
