If I wanted to use a swirl remover on the car, gotta remove all the wax right? Best way to do that?

Default You could wash the car first with a lot of dishwashing soap to remove any wax, but

the swirl remover will do an adequate job of removing the wax for you.

That said, make sure the car is spotless (REALLY CLEAN) before you begin your project.

doesn't take a LOT of dish deterg, too much would leave film.

Swirl remover is a polish; it will remove the wax by itself. You don't need to do anything first.
