Default I wasn't really impressed with 4 Star, but I'm going to try it again....

it was pretty slick and shiny, but didn't stay around too long. I'm going to use $* swirl remover then do 2 coats of the sealant on my MB.

Default Zaino will last longer thank 4 star but star is very easy to use compared to Zaino

I would also consider Blackfire in that catagory, Menzerna FMJ, and Jeffs Werkstatt which Klasse on steroids.

Default I have only used 4* so far on my S4. It looks great after clay, paint cleanser

and two coats of UPP. The paint is slick and shiny for about 4-6 months. I guess the durability depends on where the car is kept (Garage or outside). I haven't had any problems with the four Star line though. I have the SMR, but have yet to use it. Does anyone know how to properly use the SMR with a PC to remove minor swirls and polish at the same time? TIA

Default Two very different looks.

Zaino will give you more durability, but can be a bit sterile on darker colors.

Your paint must be perfectly free of other waxes to get a good UPP bond. UPP leans more towards wet. If you have a pearl coat, UPP will be more optically friendly.

Default I used the SMR on my dark blue 4 Runner with an orange pad...

about 3000 rpm...came out pretty good (good enough on that thing).

I'll probably do the same on my C, but maybe boost it up to 4K, and add 2 coats of 4* UPP.

Hang up is time. Most I've read says you have to wait a day in between. On Autopia's website, it says a 2nd coat can be added without waiting. It isn't very specific.

For outside, the best stuff I've found is 1Z Glanz.
