with the cleaner did you work it into a foam or did you just put it on?
also after you did the vital I would have used a blow drier as well.
let me know how it works.

The sponge works great at creating the foam, so I would splash a little Strong on the face, compress the foam block 3 times and instant foam but there was still liquid cleaner in the foam block, so as I used it, when it started to get a bit dry, I would just squeeze the block and out comes more foam.
I let the leather air dry for about an hour (very low humidity in the house and 72F), then ran the vital over it. No hairdryer. I'll give the hairdryer trick a shot. The low wear areas on the ottoman are a matte black, however the high wear areas still have a shine, so let's see how that works. If I have time I'll try it tonight and report back in the AM. Thanks!

with strong cleaner.
I try to create a ton of foam by briskly moving the foam pad around.
Try that then wipe the excess off with a mf towel then use the blow drier.
Note: the leather on the couch might just have gotten worn in with all the oils for all those years and it just might be a part of the leather now. Somethings you might not be able to fix.
Let me know if there is an issue if so I'll call LM's tech line to see what I'm missing here.
