Once again I wish I could edit posts, as I hit "send" too quickly. I meant to add a question about rotary v. DA backing plates. Most of the backing plates specify use on rotary machines. Can they be used equally well on random orbital machines? I have a GG 6" DA polisher that I want to try smaller MF pads on.
