i just had my bumper repainted on my S4. it was hit by someone at the NE audi show (thanks again). the guy at the body shop said that he used a urythane (sp?)paint that only needed a day or so to harden before i can wax it. i had always thought you should wait a few months before. i'd be psyched to get some blitz wax on it ASAP just because it's the bumper and probably the most vulnerable spot to bugs and road grit and crap.

I've always heard to wait at LEAST a month before waxing.

3M IHG at first, don't wax for 30-90 days, depending on the paint.
