My car only has 8,000 miles on it, and I notice my light grey leather seats are turning yellow in the seat section (the part where I sit down). The color is actually a yellow/tan color. It's almost like the dye from kaiki pants or something is rubbing off onto the seats.
I've tried Mequires leather cleaner/protector and that did make any difference.
I think they are just getting dirty, but I've had light grey leather seats before and I don't remember them getting dirty this easily. I'm thinking Audi uses a lesser grade leather in its "leather seating surfaces" which is what I currently have.
What is a really good leather cleaner that works?

We have light gray leather in my wife's A6 wagon. After 7 years and 82,000 miles I'm not seeing anything like what he's describing.

If you tend towards shorts, you may be getting prespiration stains.
Once remedy, other than wearing pants is a fequent dose of leather moisturizer.
I would go with a warranty replacment and then moisturize the living out of the new seats before using them....

the more I think it's just dirty leather.
But it shouldn't be this bad at 8,000 miles, and I periodically use the Mecquires leather cleaner/conditioner.

At least not back and forth to work.
Plus, I try to keep the inside chill'n so I'm never really sweat'n much inside during the summertime
I'll see what the dealership says next time, but I'm afraid they're just going to blow it off as regular "wear and tear".

Meguire's #96 Medallion leather care. Will clean it beyond believe and condition it. Don't use alot! What happens is when you sweat or just your oils will do that to the leather. Just apply it and rub it off and it should go away.
