Default Leather seats are turning yellow?

My car only has 8,000 miles on it, and I notice my light grey leather seats are turning yellow in the seat section (the part where I sit down). The color is actually a yellow/tan color. It's almost like the dye from kaiki pants or something is rubbing off onto the seats.

I've tried Mequires leather cleaner/protector and that did make any difference.

I think they are just getting dirty, but I've had light grey leather seats before and I don't remember them getting dirty this easily. I'm thinking Audi uses a lesser grade leather in its "leather seating surfaces" which is what I currently have.

What is a really good leather cleaner that works?

Default My first question is; with only 8k miles, are you still under warranty? If so,

high thee back to the dealer, and say "whaddup wit' dis?
If that fails, try a good leather shop.

Default 2nd. Sounds like the color is just disappearing. Didn't think that was possible.

We have light gray leather in my wife's A6 wagon. After 7 years and 82,000 miles I'm not seeing anything like what he's describing.

Take the car back to Audi or buy rubber underwear. Choose wisely.

Default Sounds gross...but do you wear shorts alot?

If you tend towards shorts, you may be getting prespiration stains.

Once remedy, other than wearing pants is a fequent dose of leather moisturizer.

I would go with a warranty replacment and then moisturize the living out of the new seats before using them....

Default Yes. The more I study it...

the more I think it's just dirty leather.

But it shouldn't be this bad at 8,000 miles, and I periodically use the Mecquires leather cleaner/conditioner.

Default Not really.

At least not back and forth to work.

Plus, I try to keep the inside chill'n so I'm never really sweat'n much inside during the summertime

I'll see what the dealership says next time, but I'm afraid they're just going to blow it off as regular "wear and tear".

Default MEQUIRE'S MEDALLION

Meguire's #96 Medallion leather care. Will clean it beyond believe and condition it. Don't use alot! What happens is when you sweat or just your oils will do that to the leather. Just apply it and rub it off and it should go away.
