Meguiars #26 Paste vs. Liquid

Meguiars #26 Paste vs. Liquid
are these essentially the same exact product in different form?
I've read some archives about #26 paste being difficult to work with and not sure how this applies to the liquid. The liquid would certainly eliminate the application problems associated with a wax, but what about removal? Difficult?
Is this a one panel at a time wax or more like Blitz where you can appply to whole car and go back and buff?

It would seem that the liquid would actually have less wax
because they need to add an ingredient to soften the product. I have used the liquid form and had to let it dry somewhat and remove it panel by panel or it was a major PITA to remove if i waited too long. I would think that the durability would be better with the paste.
The drying time for Blitz surprised me after using #26 for so long.
