Default I don't see why not. The washers in my building are front load and I use it.
Is there something specific you're thinking that won't work with front load machines?

Default My washer is only supposed to use HE (high efficiency) detergent
wondering if the micro restore would not be good in an HE washer

I use non-HE in my front loader all the time. Just use less.
