Ming Blue 2003 A4 1.8Q. Is Zaino worth it for this color?
#6
Is Zaino worth it ... You bet ...
My theory ... Keep it simple, but, pay attention to detail. I'll wash my car (Sonax car shampoo), blow dry it (sears), glaze/polish (3M IHG/Menzerna FP it, then straight to Zaino Z2 (3 coats), finished off with Zaino Z6 detail spray. For wheels, I use P21S wheel cleaner, followed by Zaino Z2. I usually take the wheels off, it's easier for me, to get at the back of the wheel.
For washing, I finish with a steady sheet of water, over the car. Blow drying = No drying towels on paint surface (except door jambs. For glaze/polish, prepare the paint surface, so it's mirror like. For wax/protectant, Z2 - breakfast of champions. For ultimate pop, Z6. Done .. You want a great looking ride, put the effort in. If you see dried wax near the trim pieces, you haven't worked hard enough. PERFECTION, is what alot of us strive for. Plus, with all this detail work, it keeps us off the streets.
