I am new to this detailing thing, I usually pay for it. Is it possible to take paint off with the 7336SP?

I need to do a good cleaning/protecting before winter; I'm sure that could make the job go faster/easier.
Do those who use polishers use it for removing glaze, cleaners, etc. as well? I'm fairly new at exterior detailing (well on autos, i used to detail boats) and need to come up with a good system (methods, products, etc.). Time for me to sit down and STFA I guess. Any pointers are more than welcome.
