Default Note to Self!! Kill father if he ever uses a rag to wash his car again

While I was out detailing a few weeks ago my father decided to wash his dirty black 05 Jetta with a rag. Thanks to that move my brother and ended up killing ourselves yesterday night for 5 hours of labor.
I used Menzerna Powergloss via rotary with a green LC pad to scuff down the deep scratches. 2nd: Menzerna IP with a white pad via rotary.
3rd: Menzerna FP white pad Rotary white pad.
4th: Jeffs Werkstatt Acrylic Jetts to seal the deal.
I was total a@@hole to him about it too but I calmed down after all was well. I did not take pics cause it was dark as hell by the time I was done last night. maybe after a wash this Saturday I will get some pics of the pain in the a@@ car. Sorry about the rant

Is "Powergloss" a stage more aggressive than IP?

Just curious, was the rag wet and soapy or dry?

"Powergloss" is more aggressive. I would only use it via rotary too

Default Rag was soap and he used the finest soap he could find in the badement "Zip Wax"

I did not even know that he an old box of stuff he used to use 10 years ago in the basement. He had a nice grey can of Ralley wax lol

Default no, thank god. I tell you though Jeffs is becoming my go to sealer

My father called me this morning and told me I must have used something new because the shine as he put it is "out of this world."
