off topic? about new painting i am planing to paint my wife's impreza since it is green : (
we both like wrx blue. do you think it is more expensive than regular color ?
local maayco paint shop says $450 for body painting service. anyone had maayco paint job?
i mean since it is 96 subaru we don't want to spend $$$$$$$ - we probably keep the car for 2~3 years max.
what you guys think??

Not worth painting IMHO...Maaco paint jobs are a joke and you will seriously kill any resale value.
Any decent paint job for an entire car is going to run $5-$10k and it's certainly not worth painting a '96 Subaru because you don't like the color. You'd be better of selling it and getting the exact same car in a color you do like.
