Default P21s Paintwork Cleanser

I have ordered the P21s Auto Care Set that includes the Gloss-Enhancing Paintwork Cleanser. I have never used this product - but it appears this serves the same function as claybar? Is claybar still necessary following this cleanser? (assuming no major paint problems - newer car)

It's nothing like a claybar. It's more like a polish/glaze.

You still need a claybar. The Mother's kit at local auto stores is a nice starter kit.

Default If the surface really is new and clean

you're fine to use those products. Before the next time you'll probably be due for some clay.

Or, if you really want to rough it, you can try zymol cleanse which is like a liquified clay product. Hard to remove, but does a good job.

Default If your car is more than a year old...clay first, GEPC next, wax last.

Otherwise, you can skip the clay, and do GEPC + wax.

Clay removes bonded grit in the paint, GEPC will clean other stuff off the paint, and leave the surface smooth and slippery...ready for a coat of wax.
