Default Poorboys ssr 2.5

I gotta tell you... pretty good stuff. I got it on slvr6's reccomendation and becasue it can be used in the sun. I try not to work in the sun, at all, but it happens sometimes and I like that versatility.

on and off real easy with pretty decent results. Only did half the car today, hood, both fenders and front doors... clay, then SSR 2.5 with white pad and 1z glanz on top. I was gonna do ssr 1, but it didnt look much like it needed it final polishing. probably did, dunno.

Smells like bubblegum too. Not sure if thats a good thing or not, but there it is.

Default I am glad you like it, actually the more you use the more it grows on you for some reason

At first I was not working it enough and was not totally breaking down, now knowing this it is one of my mainstays in the arsenal of products

Default Just an FYI

Im very much looking forward to having you tackle my car in the near future. I was gonna have you do a fall detail, but that will just drive me nuts having all the fine work assualted by NY salt winters. So I'll muddle through on my own this fall and most likely call on you for spring. I'd like to see the difference a Pro makes. : )

Do you detail throughout the winter? Anywhere you have to work inside? I wanted to get together with LI-S4 this summer as well... gotta track him down too. R u doin the cliffs drive?

Those salty winters are a reason TO do a full detail, not a reason NOT to.

Default I'm sorry, you misunderstood, or I misspoke

I fully intend to do it on my own as always, (winter or not). I get as much protection as I can by getting a few good coats in the weeks leading up to the real cold weather and before any snow.

My point however, is I only do what I consider an "ok" job with swirl removal in general. Probably a 7 of 10, compared to 10 of 10 with pro detailers like you and slvr6 (and others).

So Id like the fruit of those labors (and $$) to be enjoyed when the weather is less harsh.

I'd also like to get a good baseline established, and I'd rather have that baseline to work with in the spring/summer.

Hope I made sense.

Default I'm going to be at the cliffs drive, as for winter detailing

I have a heater in my garage that keeps me going in the winter months. I detail as long as it is over 30 deg so that the water runoff from my garage will not ice up my driveway and some falls and breaks their neck.
