Default Question about applying armor all on the tires......

Okay, when I wash my car I always put a coat of Meguir's High Endurnace Gloss on my tires. I don't put a lot on the tires, just enough to give them a nice shine. Then I let it sit for like 20 minutes or so and wipe the tires with a towel to get some of the excess gloss off. However, I STILL get some of it flying off the tires and onto the side panels of my car when I drive at speeds above say 40 mph. Does anyone else have this problem and if so what can I do to prevent it? TIA.

Default I use Armour AllŽ cut 50% with water, spray it on and by the time the last one is sprayed . . .

buff off the first one really well, not just the excess but as much as you can get off.

Default

Keep the gel off the tread area or use less.

Default HAD this problem...

the solution is to use a lot less of the gel, and rub the gel that you use onto the tire more. If you use a lot of gel, it just is on the surface of the sidewall--you have to almost work it into the rubber(i know that doesn't really make any sense but i hope you get the idea).

Default I spray on a tire swipe and then apply to the tire with the swipe...

Simply let it dry for a couple of minutes and then wipe with the tire swipe again. Works great and uses less tire dressing. Btw I use EF Black Opal but I would assume you would get the same results with Armor All.
