Okay, when I wash my car I always put a coat of Meguir's High Endurnace Gloss on my tires. I don't put a lot on the tires, just enough to give them a nice shine. Then I let it sit for like 20 minutes or so and wipe the tires with a towel to get some of the excess gloss off. However, I STILL get some of it flying off the tires and onto the side panels of my car when I drive at speeds above say 40 mph. Does anyone else have this problem and if so what can I do to prevent it? TIA.

buff off the first one really well, not just the excess but as much as you can get off.

the solution is to use a lot less of the gel, and rub the gel that you use onto the tire more. If you use a lot of gel, it just is on the surface of the sidewall--you have to almost work it into the rubber(i know that doesn't really make any sense but i hope you get the idea).

Simply let it dry for a couple of minutes and then wipe with the tire swipe again. Works great and uses less tire dressing. Btw I use EF Black Opal but I would assume you would get the same results with Armor All.
