I've been using Griot's Speed Shine as a quick detailer/after-wash shine between waxes for a while, but it's gotten to the point where I am really, really sick of dealing with it. I find it to be _very_ difficult to remove without streaking/smearing, even though it does produce a really nice shine afterwards.
For those that use quick detailing products, do you have any recommendations? I've tried the Meguiar's quick detailer, and it's ok, but i'm looking for something a bit better. For those that use Speed Shine, any application/removal tips?
thanks,

I also liked the Eagle One Wet n Wipe. One important caveat: use a microfiber towel with quick detailing sprays. Flannel or terry-cloth towels just smear the spray and doesn't work well. Pakshak.com has 16x16 microfiber towels for $5/ea shipped and Ranney Pak (owner) is a pleasure to do business with. [edited] the Pakshak.com microfiber towels are higher-quality than most MF towels and are 70/30 blend. They absorb much more liquid than 80/20 blend towels, making them ideal for quick detailing.

I use One Grand Show Off, but had similar problems with streaking on our black car until I tried using a microfiber towel. Much easier now!

I'm curious about whether this was an application issue or a product issue.
If it turns out you don't like the product, Griot's will take anything back that you're not completely happy with. In fact, before you spend more money, have you thought about checking with them for some tips?

I use MF towels frequently for removal of IHG/Wax, but for some reason had never tried it for the Speed Shine. Shined my car last night, the MF towels took EVERYTHING off, no problem.
The Speed Shine, after using the MF towels, worked _shockingly_ well. Paint felt like it had been just re-waxed (last wax was 3 weeks ago, 2 coats 1Grand Blitz).
Proper tools..![Smile](https://www.audiworld.com/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

it also contains wax, so make sure you buff it out using a micro fiber towel (makes it hastle free) and you should be fine. Works alot nicer than Meguiars Final Inspection / Quick Detailer.
