So, I received this product and anticipated using it as a GREAT replacement to 303 Aerospace Protectant however I am less than impressed and it is mostly due to personal preference.
The 1Z cockpit is a really nice packaged and sturdy product. Bottle looks small, but at 500 ml, it's going to go a long way. It feels like one of those boutique supplies compared to a Maguire's or other OTC mass marketed product. Spray nosel is very good and seems to produce a fine even mist.
Product performance. I was using a microfiber from costco to apply it to my 05 A6 dash. It seemed to take about 6-9 sprays to do the entire dash and one door card. This seems a bit excessive compared to the use of the 303 when only 3-4 pump sprays from the 4 oz spray bottle I recieved did the same amount of material. Now I may have used to much, if others think this is the case please chime in. The smell was not pleasantly citrus-e as I expected but rather was a little on the chemical side. Now as after applying the product in a garage and with low light I thought it was giving me a nice deep black look to my dark dark grey dash, just like the 303 did. However I was quite wrong. After drying the product seems to have given me an incredibly light Grey matte finish. (Will post picks sometime this week when I have camera). Now, don't get me wrong, the matte finish is very pretty, but it's not what I think I want from an interior cleaner/protectant.
Final thoughts; the 303 is right now my preferred cleaner/protector of choice. However, if you like the matte look, with a lighter color vs a matte look with a darker richer color go with the 1z hands down. It does look smooth and supple.

so I was a bit surprised to cross paths the other day. I believe he mentioned it some time ago, so in my mind it had been long enough to be "old" news...but in reality not much time has lapsed.
Regardless, good to still have you in NE. But no doubt the weather will have you saying "good to be HERE" at the new address :-)

plus there have been some things outside of my control that have delayed and complicated matters since the plan began. that said, yes, the weather is providing a strong incentive to complete the plan ;-)
