I have always been tempted to try a Boars Hair brush..figuring it might rinse more easily and will get into the joints of body panels more easily... Downside is the possibilty of scratches.
But is it any greater chance of scratches with a well rinsed brush then a well rinsed Lambs Wool Mitt?
At $60+ I don't want to just "try" a brush...
Currently do a two mitt wash...one for wheels side skirts and lower bumper front & rear..and one foe everything above that.

Used to use lambswool mitts but I think a high-quality 100% chenille mitt holds more suds/soap/water than lambswool does.
I know it doesn't answer which of the two you asked about, but it's my $.02 nonetheless!

:-P
Don't really see how price should factor into the equation. With the boar's hair brush, you buy one and you're done. I've talked to people that have been using them forever.
Like you, I'm still skeptical, so I'll keep rotating through lambwool mitts (and the recurring costs).
