just got my kit today: blackfire claybar and lube, menzera intesive and final polish, klasse AIO, and blitz.
i guess my question is should i wash with dawn or normal auto soap?? i dont think the car has been washed with dawn before..

If it was carnauba, then yes, I would wash with Dawn. Claybarring itself will remove some wax, but if you don't claybar the entire car but just spot clay, then you'll have patches of wax and patches of no wax. Dawn would make sure the entire car is wax free.
However, if what's on the car now is some kind of synthetic polymer sealant, then Dawn will probably not be able to remove it.
If you're not sure, I'd say go ahead and wash with Dawn anyway. It won't hurt anything, assuming you don't wash the car with Dawn every single time.

P21S smells better than dawn and I think works better too. The clay and polishes are going to remove any wax on the car. I've never really been convinced that dawn actually does strip the wax.
