SUV question - I'm not about to do a "full" detail on my wife's Pilot, but it needs wax
what's an easy to use, cheap, one-step wax?
IE, wash, dry, wax.
Any recommendations?

while i've never used it, I've 'heard' good things about some of the new turtle waxes...
I also used once the one step mothers carnumba wax that comes free with the mothers clay bar kit...
that wasn't horrible.
I can't remember or speak to the longevity of it though.

2nd...MP/W does a great job....
leaves a very smooth surface and lasts. i use it on my brother's Jetta (he takes it through car washes so the heck with the big details) and it looks great.
when i had my dark blue 4Runner, I used it and it worked extremely well. easy on/off.
