Default No FAQ that I know of. Sanding sounds awfully extreme if it's only your clearcoat.

I don't know how serious the scratches are, but if they didn't penetrate down to the pigment, let alone to the primer or the metal, they can't be that bad. There are a lot of fillers/scratch removers on the market that might cure your problem. You can also get clearcoat touch-up paint from the dealer (comes as a two-bottle kit with pigmented paint matched to your car), so that's another possible alternative. Is there a reason why you think sanding is your best option?

Use Zaino Z5--depending on how deep they are you can use multiple coats.
