Default those of you in hot/humid/sunny climates... any special tips/tricks

aside from preventing heat stroke during a full day detail...

any tips to make it easier to work with the products on a nice hot day, with no real escape from the sun?

Hose down the working area to cool and keep shaded to reduce excessive heat

Default If working in the shade isn't enough...work on smaller sections of the car at a time...

In some hot climates, it's possible for dark cars to get very hot, even in the shade. If a product doesn't work well in excessive heat, it's a function of heat and time. So work a smaller area and buff out the product sooner, and that may help.

Default yeah, I have the perfect storm here...

hot climate, lots of sun, black car, and virtually no shade

I'll try using my pop-up shelter thing, see how much it helps.

Default Well I can't help you with the polishing stage...

But for the waxing stage, Zaino will work under full sunlight. The issues people have with Zaino are high humidity conditions.

If you want, I have some old bottles of Z1 and Z2 lying around. I can send you one of each to try out. Their newer stuff differs in that you can add layer upon layer in the same day, whereas with the older stock I have, you need to wait a day between layers. But otherwise it should work fine.

I've got so many freakin detailing products that I don't mind cleaning a few off the shelf...and if it goes to good use...all the better.
