Default Carnauba melts at ~180*F. Depending on the settings on his water-heater,

it could very well put out those temps. Of course, if it's ***** cold outside, it won't be that hot very long.

Default I can't at school, but I took advantage of the nearly 50-degree weather on the 23rd

It was nearly 50 degrees here in South Jersey on the 23rd, prior to the torrential downpour the next day, and I couldn't resist the opportunity. I didn't have the time for any wax or detailing, but a nice wash to clean off the crap was sorely needed and looked great. My 3 layers of Klasse Sealant Glaze seem to be holding up well too, water still sheets nicely and the paint looks good.

Wash it, I'l bring it to the DIY wash and just spray it with water if I have to.

You wouldn't want to wash with 180 degree water anyway.
