I have a silver S4 and currently have these tiny brown dots all over my car. No matter how much I wash the car a I can't seem to get them off. There are not noticeable until you get up close, but i bothers me that they are there. I think it might be tree sap, but not sure. Can anyone help?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Always start with the least aggressive form of removal first.
1) Apply a glaze, such as 3M Imperial Hand Glaze. If this doesn't work,
2) Apply a clay treatment, using plenty of lube between the clay bar and the paint. If that works,
3) Follow with another application of glaze, and
4) Wax!

If this if the case, I feel your pain. Wash and wax often. If you don't, it melts in from the dew and the sun and can be a PITA to remove.

They are not rough to the touch. I think they are now embedded in the paint.
I will try the 3M Imperial Hand Glaze and the clay bar. Thanks so much for the advice.

There is a site that has magnified photos of this type of concern with technical explainations of the concern. The site is www.autoint.com and the photos are under the Tech Tips section
There are also many other photos of vehicle paint conditions, what caused them, what, if any resolutions may be obtained.
There is also a set of photos and explainations of how a vehicle is painted at the factory these days, courtesy of PPG.
These photos are in the Tech Tips section.
Take a look at these photos and then go to the OEM/TSB section, to find the correct method to remove as recommended by 3 manufacturers of vehicles.
VW/Audi has a similar tech bulletin out using an older system.
