I used TI in the removal of PO85RD to get my G35 ready for FMJ and am very pleased with the reuslts.
The first pass I wiped with a plain MF towel (I love the red ones from PHIL)and then applied the TI to a 2nd towel and did a finishing wipe.
The cleaning power was excellent, and I swear it seemed to really give the paint some pop...I suppose the pop simply comes from the TI getting the paint super clean and free of polish residue, but the paint seemed more crystal clear than the last detail.
I do not know how TI compares to the results of an IPA mix, but I will be a TI user from now on. PS...while TI is expensive, it didn't take a whole lot to get the car done.

If you change your h2o/ipa mix ratio from 50/50 to 70/30 it won't evaporate as quickly and you'll see some nice results.
