Default Washing Audi car covers?

Sort of a strange question, but can anyone recommend the best way to wash an Audi Collection car cover? I'm afraid that throwing mine in the washing machine might not be safe for the fabric. Any thoughts would be most appreciated!

If you mean washing the outside of the car cover, why not just put it on your car and wash it in place? It's waterproof, no?

If you mean the inside of the car cover, hm I'm not quite sure, but I bet your instructions might have something? You might need to take it to a laundromat and toss it in one of the big front-load machines, the ones that you can wash carpets in...

Default Let me tell you what NOT to do...

Do not wash your cover in anything but cold water. Do not put it into a machine with an agitator (spindle) in the center. This rules out most home machines. Take it to a laundromat with an oversized washer and use very little detergent making sure you use the cold water setting. Air dry the cover at home after the wash. Do not use any kind of dryer or the material will begin to deteriorate.

What makes me such an expert? I trashed my OEM TT cover last weekend washing it in hot water in a home machine. Fortunately, I just won an an eBAy auction today on a brand new one.
